What is Ryanair ‘Prime’?
Put simply, Ryanair’s ‘Prime’ subscription is an exclusive discount scheme for frequent flyers that will entitle them to perks on seats and travel insurance, as well as substantial savings. Those who sign up for the £79 12-month annual subscription will be able to reserve seats for free, have access to free travel insurance as well as 12 annual member-exclusive seat sales – that’s one per month.
How to sign up for Ryanair ‘Prime’
You can make a start on signing up on Ryanair’s website here. To be eligible, you’ll need to be at least 18 years old and be a resident in one of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Ireland, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Spain and the UK.
There are only £250,000 worth of subscriptions available, so if you’re interested, make sure you apply soon.
What are the benefits of Ryanair ‘Prime’?
According to Ryanair, ‘Prime’ members will have regular emails in their inbox detailing exclusive flight sales and offers, and they can book an unlimited number of flights with the discounted Prime fares.
The biggest sell with this scheme is the potential for savings – and some of them could be massive. The airline estimates that members who fly 12 times per year will save up to £420, but you don’t need to be a mega-flyer to save some cash – it also says that people who book three flights per year could make a saving of around £105.
